Before he accidentally shot himself in the finger this week, former Major League Baseball outfielder Jose Canseco fired off a couple of angry tweets aimed at Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines days earlier.
Canseco didn’t disclose the nature of the problem in the Oct. 22 tweets, nor when or where it occurred. The sister also wasn’t identified by name. But clearly the former player was peeved.
“Make sure you do not fly delta airlines my sister spent 3 hours on the phone with them trying y of fix a mistake they made.no help at all,” Canseco told to his 510,000 Twitter followers.
He followed the first tweet with one similar: “Do not fly delta airlines what a scam.”
His followers’ reaction to his tweets ranged from “good advice jose”, posted by Peydo Santana, to “kinda like your career?” posted by Gordo, an apparent reference to Canseco’s admission that he used performance enhancing drugs during his playing career.
On Tuesday, Canseco shot a left-hand finger while cleaning a gun at his Las Vegas home, according to police.
