Which passenger annoys you the most when flying?

Who ticks you off more when flying, someone kicking the back of your seat or parents who can’t control their children? What about the boozer, armrest hog or “mad bladder”?

Expedia’s latest annual Airline Etiquette Study shows both nuisances are at the top of the list for many. The problems are followed by travelers who wear too much cologne or perfume, and loud talkers and music players.

The study, conducted by the market research company GfK, asked 1,000 Americans to rank the most annoying on-board behaviors of fellow passengers. The following list shows how the bad behaviors rank, and the percentage of people agreeing:

1. Rear seat kicker: 67%

2. Inattentive parents: 64%

3. The aromatic passenger: 56%

4. The audio insensitive (talking or music): 51%

5. The boozer: 50%

6. Chatty Cathy: 43%

7. Carry-on baggage offenders: 39%

8. The armrest hog: 38%

9. Seat-back guy (the seat recliner): 37%

10. The queue jumper (rushes to deplane): 35%

11. Overhead bin inconsiderate (stows bag in first available spot, rather than nearest to his/her seat): 32%

High altitudes causes the feet to swell. Some people have bladder problems. Babies will cry, etc.. etc., etc. You know the stakes.  Can't deal with it then drive or take the train.

I'm with someonesdad on the shoes (mainly because feet swell considerably at high altitude and it's a huge relief to remove the shoes) and the adult content (I cannot imagine that happening and wouldn't tolerate it for 2 seconds). But I totally disagree on the reclining seat. If the seats are made to recline then who am I to object to the person in front of me doing so? And when they do, I just do the same, and I assume others will as well.

Those cryin' babies!  They need a special cargo hold for those things with some childcare specialist to stay with them!

If I'm on Delta, it ticks me off that I'm paying twice what I would have paid on AirTran.

I do kick off my shoes (and why not?) but I've never seen anyone watching adult content.

The seat recliner, by far.  There's no sense in invading MY space just so you get to lay back 3 inches.  Sit up like an adult.
