The Atlanta Braves will hold a ceremonial laying of the first bricks on Thursday at the new SunTrust Park.

The ceremony will likely include updates on ballpark construction.

The event will feature an honorary mason, Eutis Morris, who the Braves said laid bricks at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium and Turner Field.

Braves Chairman and CEO Terry McGuirk, President John Schuerholtz, hall of famer Hank Aaron and current Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman are expected to attend.

Also expected are the CEO of SunTrust, Bill Rogers; Cobb Commission Chairman Tim Lee and Commissioners JoAnn Birrell, Lisa Cupid, Bob Ott and Bob Weatherford.

2015 is the 100th Anniversary of the 1915 horrific and gruesome LYNCHING of Leo Frank in Marietta,Georgia !!!

Marietta, Georgia is the county seat of Cobb County Georgia.

Bud Selig Commissioner Emeritus and former Commissioner of Major League Baseball (MLB) grew up in a Jewish family.

Leo Frank was a Jewish man abducted and kidnapped from a Georgia prison and transported to Cobb County where they felt most comfortable in hanging him in.

We URGE Major League Baseball (MLB) , Georgia Legislature, Governor Deal and other good people to support State Senator Horacena Tate efforts to ANNEX SunTrust Park and surrounding areas into the City Of Atlanta .

Atlanta, Georgia is the home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Museum.

Well of course its not open to the public; just like the negotiations to move the Braves to Cobb County were not open to the public.  How much do you think that brick costs the Cobb County taxpayers?

After seeing the barves front office hogs and cobb political fat cats lay a few solid gold bricks, paid for with cobb taxpayer dollars, follow them as they waddle on down to the 29-story Applebee's in barvesworld.  To celebrate another milestone in another historic season of barves baseball, all the well-connected billionaires will be stuffing their fat faces with all the brewskis, tater skins, and babyback ribs that cobb taxpayer dollars can buy, while enjoying another barves shutout loss.

This should be right up their alley. The Braves have been laying bricks all season...
