Chick-fil-A customers will soon be able to use Apple Pay to purchase their waffle fries, chicken sandwiches and milkshakes.
The Atlanta fast-food chain said it has launched a gradual roll out of the service, which allows consumers to use their iPhones to make purchases. The service will be introduced slowly at different locations before being available at all stores later in the year.
“Chick-fil-A is focused on using technology to provide convenient ways for guests to interact with our restaurants,” Chick-fil-A Senior Manager of Digital Experience Michael Lage said in a release. “The roll out of Apple Pay is an exciting new opportunity for Chick-fil-A to continue that focus.”
Chick-fil-A has been on a growth spurt of late, using both technology and new restaurants to reach more of the nation. The chain opened a flagship store in New York City at the end of last year.
Chick-fil-A said consumers should contact their local restaurant to determine availability.
